Calling all free spirited boho brides, this gorgeous inspiration planned and styled by Antonia Luzi at The Majella National Park (Abruzzo, Italy) is for you.
We’ve fallen head over heals for the immense moon gate and Persian rug focal point. Adorned with the most beautiful peach flowers, dried grasses and foliage, and sitting very pretty amongst the natural location. Plus the brides dirty boots and messy hair wild look, really encompasses what being free is all about.
There’s plenty more to swoon over and pin too, thanks to the gorgeous captures by Federico Lanuto Photography, including an intimate tablescape and simple, but decadent single tier wedding cakes. Not to mention some gorgeous uses of hoops as menus, table plans and dream catchers. All the heart eyes.
Federico Lanuto: The Majella National Park is located in Abruzzo, Italy. It offers enchanting landscapes and from the mountain you can easily see the coastline and the Adriatic Sea, that is just 40 minutes far. The venue is wild and unique, perfect for a different, boho soul wedding.
Colour Palette & Design
The colour palette is inspired by the colours of the ground. The design is desert inspired and it plays with contrasting styles and materials.
The table setting is mixed and eclectic. We used a low table, covered with natural linen tableclothes and draped with an uncommon mix and match table runner. The napkins are in natural linen as well, tied in écru natural linen ribbon and refined with thillandsia. The plates are hand made in brown shades, while cutleries are in a precious gold tone.
Glasses are a combination of modern and vintage. We also used vintage candlesticks with a warm tone candles. We completed the table setting with mix and match pillows and a guitar.
The stationery is completely hand made. It plays between the contrast of hand made paper and natural linen. Both paper and linen have been coloured with a solution of water and coffee to obtain a used and distressed effect.
Our bride is an unconventional beauty. We chose a precious hand made dress, covered with crystals and with a long back hand. We decided to combine the dress with a distressed pair of boots, for a high contrast effect.
The make up focuses on the stunning big green eyes of our bride and her glowing skin. We prefered a natural, casual style for the hairstyle.
All the accessories (earrings, rings, bangles) are ethnic/boho inspired and are from our personal collections.
The flowers reflect the desert – boho mood. We prefered a natural style for the big circle arch and for the bouquet and the simplicity of big natural single flowers for the table. We widely used thillandsia to persist to a boho mood.
The cake is small and simple, enriched with an ombre effect and some small roses.
Federico Lanuto captured this styled shoot. He played with the warm tones of the winter light and he was great to give value to every details. He definitely has an artistic point of view.
