If you are planning a vintage glamour wedding, then play close attention to this glamorous photo shoot. When I received an email from Ofe Oyasor of Ollie’s Studio and took a look at the stunning images attached, I just knew it would be perfect for Style & the Bride.
When brides to be think of vintage, it is all too easy to imagine shabby chic vintage with mismatched china etc. However, when you term vintage with glamour, it takes on a whole new exciting meaning.
The venue for the photo shoot took place at Cheltenham Town Hall because of its beautiful architecture. The team were also attracted by the soft blue hues of the Drawing Room there, which influenced the colour palette for the vintage glamour wedding photo shoot. I love the use of gold accents and a rich midnight blue velvet runner used to decorate the wedding table. The Ghost Chiavari chairs completed the look.
When it came to the stationery for the vintage glamour wedding look, Ollie’s Studio designed the stationery with a timeless masculine vibe to go with the colour palette. ‘We softened it with painterly stripes of liquid gold,’ says Ofe of Ollie’s Studio. ‘This was paired with gold calligraphy, acrylic and vellum menus and agate slice place cards.’
What I love in particular about the vintage glamour wedding is the cool vibe of the bride and groom. The bride’s caped jumpsuit is just perfect, as is the groom’s contemporary modern blue suit. For the evening, the model bride changed into a slinky lingerie inspired evening gown in a gorgeous burgundy colour.
