French couple Aurélia and François fell in love during a business trip to Switzerland, and decided to return to the spot where they met to marry. They were joined by 150 guests who journeyed to celebrate with them. The little church they chose dates from 1878 and sits high on a rock overlooking a lake. Reached only by a steep path, the couple’s guests were so amazed by the magnificent view that many stayed after the ceremony, taking photos and enjoying the panorama. Afterwards the party took a boat across the border to Italy to celebrate in the village of Castello Cabiaglio at Palazzo Ronchelli, an ancient and beautiful Italian villa, to celebrate the wedding reception with Italian food and wine. Aurélia and François had their destination wedding in Switzerland and Italy! The party consisted of family and friends from all over the world: a beautiful melting pot of countries, traditions and languages that invaded the little village of Castello Cabiaglio for the celebration, all captured so well by L&V Photography and planned by Laura Dova.
