Embryolisse – A Review

I was sent the Embryolisse cream to review and was in all honesty a bit skeptical. I have quite dry sensitive skin and I am quite picky on the types of moisturiser I use. I had not heard of this brand of cream so I did my research, read the bio and reviews online and this helped me to decided giving the cream a try.

They say “Dubbed the Grand Dames of skincare, the legendary Lait-Crème Concentré £20 (the original miracle cream) and Lait-Crème Fluide £28 (a lighter version of the original formulation) are the amazing magic moisturisers that have become a staple in the make-up bags of celebrities, super models and make-up artists who love its skin perfecting, smoothing, plumping and softening benefits. The legendary cream works as a super-effective moisturiser, anti-ager, primer, cleanser, post-shaver and even baby balm and, as such, is often credited as the original multi-tasker and 24/7 miracle cream thanks to its ability to handle almost any skincare need in just one tube, with no more ingredients than absolutely necessary and at a price within everyone’s reach. Good news perhaps for British women who it is estimated will spend upwards of £8,000 in their lifetime trying different moisturisers, cleansers and make-up removers.”

The Review

Now my skin has changed as I have got older, my cheeks have developed red blotches and sometimes my forehead can be prone to outbreaks. I started using the cream 14 days ago, once a day usually in the morning. When I started applying the cream it was at the time of the month where my skin is prone to breakouts. You do not need to use a lot of the lotion as a little goes a long way so this will last a long while and I believe you will get your monies worth. After applying your skin feels really smooth to the touch.

7 days after I started to use the lotion on my skin the soft the red blotches started to calm down, 14 days later and they and this seems to still be the case which I am actually quite pleased about. My forehead is 80% blemish free, but I would like to add at this point that I have been eating a lot healthier have a good balance of vegetables and fruit in my diet and I do think this has helped massively. I have a tendency to have oily skin around my chin and my nose creased, this still seemed to be the case, but after 14 days this has become less so. I use minimal around those areas so as not to make it any worse.

To conclude:

  • Would I use it again ? Yes
  • Is it good value for money ? I would say at either £13 or £20 its a bargain. Don’t be put off by the 30ml size you only need to use a little bit.
  • What would I give out of 10? 9/10 as I still feel I need to give it more time to fully see a difference.
  • I would recommend using this product in the run up to your big day. I would say start using at least 2-3 months before hand to enable your skin to get used to the product.
  • Below in the more info part are the ingredients used. Always check them if you have prior history to allergies. Vist the website for more details.
