Find your extraordinary wedding venue with Space & Rock

Extraordinary wedding venue

From vintage cinema to quarry lake or among the birds in a treetop escape – unique spaces are being discovered and made available for your wedding by the fabulous new Space & Rock.

The visionary behind this new ‘Airbnb of the wedding world’ is Gemma Rawlinson, owner of successful wedding decor hire company Box & Cox. Gemma says:

We believe a couple’s individuality should be rewarded with a totally unique wedding space and are excited to play a small part in their day. Likewise, we’re passionate about helping small business, home and land owners up and down the country to become more sustainable by realising a revenue stream that they previously might not have known existed.

The website offers hundreds of hidden gem spaces spanning the country, with a selection of enviable locations across the south west. Space & Rock doesn’t list spaces that are primarily a wedding venue, setting it apart from traditional venue directories and offering instead hay barns, woodlands, crumbling castles, boathouses and caves and out of the ordinary spaces for your wedding.

What’s more, the service aims to be 100% carbon neutral and employs a strong ethics code across every facet of the company.   Diversification of income has become a hot topic for farmers, land and small business owners as well as occupants of country houses passed down through the family. Space & Rock offers them the opportunity to open their spaces for occasional private events, providing a financial lifeline for some and uncovering some of the country’s most wondrous and quirky locations that might otherwise never have been available to hire.

Where might you find to say I do?!
