Mallorca’s beautiful landscape and architecture were the perfect backdrop for this rustic yet elegant destination wedding. Mallorca has gained a lot of popularity with couples from abroad in the last few years and with such gorgeous venues, 300 days of sunshine a year and wonderful local vendors, it’s not hard to see why. Today’s couple, Marie and Jean Pierre, envisioned an intimate celebration on the Mediterranean island that is also a second home to them. They invited their families and closest friends to celebrate with them at Son Bosch, a family run finca and vineyard. From the stunning location to the candlelit dinner under the stars they planned a perfectly laid back day filled with love and laughter. The decor was rustic and kept simple to let the many beautiful details of the finca take the stage. Using the rough texture and sandy color of burlap as accents made perfect sense in this setting. The bride’s bouquet as well as the table decorations were created by the talented team at Son Bosch and picked up the color palette of their surroundings- sandstone beige with a hint of pink and olive green. Marie designed both her gowns herself, matching the style of her wedding perfectly. Food and wine were local and the dinner accompanied by the sound of a Spanish guitar concert, with the highlight of the day being a first dance that started with sparklers, leading in to a passionate flamenco that wowed guests.
